Jesus said, "Love one another as I have loved you." John 13 34-35

Welcome to the year 5 and 6 pages for 2019-2020
In our phase there are three classes; Elephant, Lion and Jaguar.
As we are the oldest children at school, we always work hard to set a good example for the other children to follow. Many of the year 5 and 6 children have important jobs within the school such as Chaplaincy Team, Play Leaders, Travel Ambassadors, School Councillors, Peer Mentors and also Buddies to the early years children.
On our class pages you can find lots of information including what we are learning about this term, important dates, displays and photographs! Please explore our class pages to find out more... .

Year 5/6 Terms 1-6
To help develop children's fluency in Mathematics, we ask that you support your child in learning Key Instant Recall Facts each term.
The objectives of the KIRFs align with the new Maths curriculum. They are intended to be challenging and, of course, class teachers will scaffold the learning in class too.
We expect children to practise their KIRFs regularly at home.
We have updated the KIRFs for 2019-2020 to help the children to learn and practise their multiplication tables.
Many thanks for your ongoing support.
