The Chaplaincy Team is responsible for the organisation of the Sanctuary. This is a reflection room where all of the children at Holy Family have the opportunity to be still, pray, reflect or simply have some quiet time. Weekly activities are also provided to enable the children to consider the message of the week's Gospel reading.
The children gain a lot from using the space and the Chaplaincy Team play a crucial role in this. They show a high level of responsibility and work as role models for the rest of the school. Their tasks involve collecting younger children for their Sanctuary time, assisting with Sanctuary reflections and displays but mostly in supporting others in prayer while in the Sanctuary.
