Carers' week is a bit different this year due to Lockdown but Swindon Carers centre are still trying to raise awareness and funds by doing their annual 'Walk a mile' albeit in a completely different way!
During the week of the 8th - 14th June, we are all being encouraged to Walk a Mile but rather than stomping around Swindon town centre as in previous years, we are being asked to be creative and use our imaginations!
Can you and your child(ren) walk up and down the stairs for a mile (ish)? Could you walk the dog? Could you bounce on the trampoline for a mile (ish) ?

If you would like to take part, please use the sponsor form (below) OR simply send in photos to our website using this link.. Please also send us photos of yourselves walking that mile especially if it's in silly clothes

For more information, to send in your photos or if you have any questions, please contact Sarah Morland on smorland@holyfamily.swindon.sch.uk or call 07594 089051 for information.

Can you choose and colour in a picture from the website here and then display in your window? Take a picture and then send to Robert Buckland via Facebook or to robert.buckland.mp@parliament.uk. All of the pictures that he receives will be proudly displayed In a gallery on his website. Mr Buckland appreciates that local posties, alongside all other key workers, are working extremely hard at this time in very difficult circumstances and he hopes that children will enjoy taking part in this campaign. On 8th May it is 75 years since the end of World War 2. There are lots of different things we can do to celebrate this and learn more about this. On this page we will be able to access different challenges and activities and share the work you have completed to celebrate this important time.
